The "Wanted" Horse Forum

I was givin a anglo arab mare and I thought at the moment it would be fun but I have no idea what to do with her she is way more horse i have ever worked with and I'm not experienced enough to start a horse. Not saying she's crazy but just more flighty and nervous.
She is 8 years old and has been started years ago but she doesn't know anything now. I can get the saddle on her, but not the bridle and I had my hubby sit on her but he went flying which was funny to see. Sure glad it wasn't me.
Asking $500 but really just make an offer, I just want someone to do something with her.
I just got her teeth floated and she's still needs a little more weight on her but she is in good health,sound.
She loves attention and being groomed, plants her feet were ever and doesn't move tell your done, kind of sweet.
She is a very nice and willing mare.
She has no vices, I've only had her since November.
Just thought I'd put that out there for anyone who might know of someone who would like a project.

Congrats Irene! Where did she go?

I gave Promise to a nice lady that starts horses for a living, she out in aldergrove. She said she will sell her after her training is done so she will be up for sale again but I hope she will find a good home that will be able to ride and show her as she is such a loving horse. I miss her lots but I really could not keep 4, and my hubby's threating to make me sell another.
But that is not going to happen if I can help it.
