American Cream Horses for Sale (6)
American cream is a draft horse breed. It appeared in Iowa in the early 20th century and since then spread all over the country and beyond. American Cream equines are the only draft breed that originated in the U.S. These horses are medium in size and weigh 1600 – 2000 pounds. Their height varies from 15.1 to 16.3 hands. The coats are cream, while the manes and tails are white, and the skin is pink. The eyes are amber. These equines are strong and resilient. They are perfect for farming, logging, driving, and harnessing. The American Cream breed is now considered very rare. They faced extinction when technologies replaced horses in the farming business. In the middle of the 20th century, their numbers started to decline rapidly. Then in the 1980’s interested horse breeders tried to revive the breed and saved it from extinction, however, the number are far from being high. A few American Cream horses are available for sale at the www.H-4.ca website.
