The goal was to create a beautiful, versatile, and intelligent riding horse. Eventually, the Sugarbush Harley Quinne horse was created. The coloring of this horse featured white and black spots. It was considered the ideal equine created by the breeder Everett Smith. This particular horse became very popular and people became interested in buying the same breed. The spotted draft equines were sought after for years. When Harley Quinne died, it left only one son and the same breeding couldn’t have been repeated since the horse used to produce Quinne was already sold and gelded.
